Chhattisgarh TET 2024 – Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board has released the Notification for Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) 2024 for recruitment of teachers in Lower Primary (Class I to V) and Upper Primary (Class VI to VIII). Important Dates

  • Submission of Online Applications: 07th March 2024
  • Last Date to Submit the Application Form: 07th April 2024
  • Form correction window will be open: 08th to 10th April 2024
  • Date of Entrance Examination : 23th June 2024
  • Declaration of Result: To be announced!

 

Eligibility Criteria

For Teaching in Classes I to V

  • Any of the following option may be satisfied
    • Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks or 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
    • Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
    • Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
    • Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

 

For Paper-II (Class VI-VIII)

  • Any of the following option may be satisfied
    • Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in Pedagogy/ 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
    • Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
    • Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    • Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

  • Application form for CG Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 is available from March 07, 2024, at https://vyapam.cgstate.gov.in/
  • Chhattisgarh Professional Exam Board has released the application form online mode only.
  • Applicants should ensure their eligibility criteria before filling the application form and read the important mandatory point.

 

Application Fee

Fee for One Paper

  • General : Rs 350/-
  • OBC : Rs 250/-
  • SC/ST/PwD : Rs 200/-

 

Fee for Both Papers

  • General : Rs 600/-
  • OBC : Rs 400/-
  • SC/ST/PwD: Rs 300/-

 

Selection Process

  • CG TET selection process contains three stages that every candidate has to pass to get appointed as a teacher within the Chhattisgarh state.
  • i. Candidate selection is based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam.
  • ii. Candidates will be shortlisted according to the marks scored in the entrance exam.
  • For selection to the teaching post candidate have to go through the teacher recruitment exam that will be followed by the interview process.

 

CG TET 2024 Exam Pattern

  • Check out the CG TET Exam Pattern for Primary level (Class I- V) and Upper Primary level (Class VI- VIII).
  • Exam Mode : The exam will be in Offline mode (Pen and Paper).
  • Paper Language : Paper will be bilingual, that is in both English & Hindi languages.
  • Marks : PAPER- I or PAPER- II will be of 150 marks.
  • Time Duration : 2½ hours will be given for PAPER-I or PAPER-II.
  • Marking : No negative marking in CG TET exam
  • Type of Questions : Objective type (MCQ).
  • Each question in the paper will be of 1 mark.

  • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Language I (compulsory) – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Language II (compulsory) – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Mathematics – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Environmental Studies – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Total: – 150  Questions – 150 Marks

 

Paper 2

  • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Language I (compulsory) – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Language II (compulsory) – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Teaching Subject – 60  Questions –  60 Marks
  • Total :- 150  Questions – 150 Marks
