About AP ECET 2024

  • AP ECET 2024 will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE for Diploma Holders of Eng Technology/Pharmacy and B.Sc. Graduates (with Mathematics) for admission through lateral entry 2nd year level into B.E. / B.Tech. /B. Pharmacy Programs offered in Universities and AICTE/PCI approved Institutions in A.P.

Eligibility Criteria for AP ECET 2024

  • Residential Requirements: Candidates must be an Indian national and they should satisfy the local / non-local status requirements.
  • Education Qualification: Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy, or 3-year B.Sc Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Students must have 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC category) in the qualifying exam.

Qualifying marks in APECET-2024

  • The qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in APECET -2024 is 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics) i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, in the case of SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates.
  • The rank obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at the APECET [FDH & B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects)]-2024 by any candidate claiming to belong to SC/ST category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission

  • For registration and submission of the online application, the aspiring candidates have to visit the website www.sche.ap.gov.in/ecet

Steps to Follow

  • Step 1: Fee Payment
  • Step 2: Know Your Payment Status
  • Step 3: Fill Application (only after Fee Payment)
  • Step 4: Print Application Form (only after Submitting Application Form)
  • For registration and submission of online application the aspiring candidates must visit the web site https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET.
  • All the details required such as qualifying examination (diploma or degree as the case may be), hall ticket number, SSC or 10th class hall ticket number, places of study from 6th class onwards, caste category-Mee seva Certificate number, Income certificate-Mee seva certificate number, good quality passport size photograph in .jpg or .jpeg format of 50Kb size, scanned image of Signature affixed with a black pen on a white paper in .jpg or .jpeg format of 30Kb size, Ration card of the family, Aadhar card of self in the application form shall be entered in the specified fields
  • The Aadhar Card number of the candidate is mandatory.
  • The payment of the registration fee can be done online through AP Online services or Payment  Gateway (through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net banking). The registration fee is Rs.600/- for OC  students, 550/- for BC students and 500/- for SC/ST students.

  • Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions
  • Language of Exam: English Language
  • Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam is 3 hours
  • Number of Question: 200 Questions
  • Number of Marks: 200 Marks
  • Marking Scheme: One mark will be awarded for each correct answer and no mark will be deducted
