UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 Application Process to being from February 2019 – The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC is all set to released the notification for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2019. As per the official calendar the online application process for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 will begin from February 19 and will continue till March 18, 2019.
The UPSC Civil Services and Indian Forest Services Preliminary examination would be conducted together on June 2, 2019. However, the main examination would be conducted for the candidates on separate dates. Civil Services 2019 Main examinations are scheduled to commence from September 20, 2019. IFS Mains 2019 would be conducted from December 1, 2019.
The recruitment is a three step process – preliminary Exam (MCQ type), Mains Exam (descriptive type) followed by Personal Interview. Candidates are required to qualify in all the examination to be eligible for recruitment. The final selection would be based on Merit score of main and interview round combined.
Candidate holding a degree from a Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019
