Sher Singh is a twelve year old, small and cheerful boy. He has grown up in the forest area that surrounds their village. He helps his mother in treating his ailing younger brother. He proposes to carry his brother to the hospital that is far away. He faces various hurdles and threats with courage. He prays to God for help and even thanks God for saving them. Sher is shy of the hospital staff and educated doctors.
