  • Availability of Prospectus & online Registration Form on the website: March 13, 2024
  • Last date for submission of information on the website to generate the Login & Password: April 10, 2024

Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 10+ 2 exam with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC/PwD) from any recognized Board/University.
  • Applicants who have obtained 10+2 Higher Sec. Pass Certificate or 1st Degree Certificate after prosecuting Studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible
  • Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible
  • No candidate shall be eligible for admission to 1st semester of BA/B.Com. LLB (Hons.) unless s/he appears in and qualifies the Entrance Test for the relevant year of admission

Online Registration Steps to Follow

  • Read Prospectus carefully
  • Register Online [last date for registration 01st July 2024]
  • Note down your Login Id and Password (login details will be sent to your registered Email Id also)
  • Take print out of bank slip (bank slip can also be downloaded from account using login id and password)

  • General – Rs.2175/-
  • SC/ ST/ PWD – Rs.1088/-

 

Exam Pattern

  • Panjab University BA/B.Com LLB Entrance Test shall consist of one paper on “Legal and General Awareness” as per the details given below:
  • Mode of Exam: Offline mode
  • Medium of Exam: English
  • Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions
  • Number of Questions: 100
  • Duration of Exam: 90 minutes
  • Marks Allotted to Each Question: +1 mark each
  • Marks deducted for each wrong answer: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer

Admission Process

  • After declaration of result of Entrance Test, the Admission Form shall be available at Panjab University website.
  • The candidates who have qualified Entrance Test have to submit duly filled Admission Form, as per the guidelines displayed on the above said website.
  • Every candidate must indicate in her/his Admission Form the reserved category/ies for which s/he wants to apply. If the category is not mentioned in her/his Admission Form, the candidate will be considered for the General Category only.

Final Merit Will Be Prepared As Under:

  • B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) 5 years Integrated Course – Entrance Test: 50% + Qualifying Examination (+2): 50% + other admissible weightage
  • B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.) 5 years Integrated Course – Entrance Test: 50% + Qualifying Examination (+2): 50% With Weightage for commerce subjects* and other admissible weightage
  • *Weightage shall be given for the commerce subjects for admission to B.Com. LL.B.(Hons.) as per P.U.Calendar and other rules and regulations laid down by competent authorities/bodies of Panjab University from time to time.
