Counselling Process for CLAT 2021

The admission to integrated LLB and LLM programs in participating universities will be made through centralised counseling where the seats will be allotted on the basis of the merit in CLAT 2021.

The first rank list on the basis of merit cum preference will be published at the official website of CLAT. Candidates can log onto their registered accounts and check the counselling schedule. Candidates will be allowed to make choice as per the ranks obtained by them. In the counseling, candidates will be given the option of ‘lock’ and ‘withdrawal’, where they can either lock a seat or withdraw their candidature from the counselling.

In case the seat is allotted due to the vacant seats from the first round of allotment, the candidate will be required to pay the counseling fee. Once the fee is submitted the counseling committee will generate the next seat allotment list.

After the allotment of seat, a candidate is required to pay the balance fees and submit the original certificates at the respective NLU.
