- The University offers research on the broad areas of Business Law, Constitutional Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Law, Environmental Law, Criminal Law, Labour and Administrative Law, Human Rights and Interdisciplinary Studies

- Date of Entrance Test is on 19th June 2021
Eligibility Criteria for Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University PhD Admission 2021
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 55% marks along with a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Medicine, Forensic Science, Agriculture or Technology or M.Phil in other Humanities & Social Science having scored a minimum 55% or equivalent in its grade (Candidates who have completed their Master’s Degree prior to the year 1991 should have at least a minimum of 50% of marks)
- Candidate who have passed Company Secretary Examinations (ACS) or Passed Chartered Accountants examinations (ACA) or Passed Cost Accountant Examinations (ICWA) are also eligible

- Application Form and the Prospectus can be downloaded from the University Website from 10.05.2021
- Candidates willing to apply may submit the duly filled in application with relevant enclosures, along with the processing fee of Rs.1,250/- (Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty only) [In case of SC/ST, Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only)] by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University” payable at Chennai, in-person or by post addressed to “The Director, Research, Publications and Academic Affairs, School of Excellence in Law, the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai on or before 31.05.2021
Selection Procedure
- Selection and admission shall be in accordance with the reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Entrance Test will be held through online mode on 19.06.2021
