Eligibility Criteria for PU Law Entrance Exam 2020

BA LLB (Hons) /BCom LLB (Hons) Integrated Course

(i)

Passed 10+ 2 exam with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC/PwD) from any recognized Board/University.

(ii)

Applicants who have obtained 10+2 Higher Sec. Pass Certificate or 1st Degree Certificate after prosecuting Studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission in the Integrated Five Years Course.

(iii)

Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses

(iv)

No candidate shall be eligible for admission to 1st semester of BA/B.Com. LLB (Hons.) unless s/he appears in and qualifies the Entrance Test for the relevant year of admission

 

PU LLB Entrance Exam 2020 Application Process

i.

Candidates can fill the application form from the official website https://uglaw.puchd.ac.in

ii.

Check the steps given below to fill the online application form.

 

Online Registration Steps to Follow

i.

Read Prospectus carefully

ii.

Register Online [last date for registration 07th May 2020]

iii.

Note down your Login Id and Password (login details will be sent to your registered Email Id also)

iv.

Take print out of bank slip (bank slip can also be downloaded from account using login id and password)

v.

Deposit fee using website generated bank slip at any SBI branch, minimum one day after printing of bank slip. [last date for submission of fee in any SBI branch 11th May 2020]

vi.

Login again after 24 Hrs. of depositing fee and upload scanned passport size photograph, signature, fill other important information and Save and Confirm

vii.

Download your Admit Card after 19th May 2020 (Bring one photo identity proof like Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport etc. at the Exam Centre failing which the candidate will not be allowed to enter in the Exam Hall)

Final Merit will be Prepared as under

BA LLB (Hons.) 5 yrs. Integrated

50% + Qualifying Exam (+2): 50% + another admissible weightage

BCom LLB (Hons.) 5 yrs. Integrated

50% + Qualifying Exam (+2): 50% With Weightage for commerce subjects* and other admissible weightage

*Weightage shall be given for the commerce subjects for admission to B.Com. LL.B.(Hons.) as per P.U. Calendar and other rules and regulations laid down by competent authorities/bodies of Panjab University from time to time.

 

PU LLB Entrance Exam 2020 Admit Card

i.

The admit card of the PU Law Entrance Test 2020 will be released on the official website

ii.

Candidates will be able to download it by submitting the Login Id and Password.

iii.

On the exam day, the candidates will have to carry the admit card, as well as one photo id proof with it

iv.

Only when candidates will carry both the documents, they will be allowed to enter the exam hall.
