AMU LAW Entrance Exam 2018 - Aligarh Muslim University invites applications for admission to Bachelor's Degree Course (BA LLB) Program And 2-year Master Degree Program (LLM) for the academic year 2018

Course Details

  • Aligarh Muslim University law entrance exam (AMU law entrance exam) is conducted to provide admission to aspirants in the Law Courses mentioned below:

 

Bachelor’s Degree Course/p>

  • BA LLB - 5 Years (10 Semesters)
  • AMU Aligarh (LLBA) 100 Seats
  • AMU Centre, Malappuram (LLBK) 60 Seats
  • AMU Centre, Murshidabad (LLBW) 60 Seats

 

LLM 2 Years (4 Semesters) - 25 Seats

  • There are 220 seats in total that are available for the purpose of admission and candidates will need to take the offline exam

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for BA LLB 2018

  • The candidates seeking admission in law programmes of Aligarh Muslim University are advised to check the AMU BA LLB 2018 Eligibility Criteria before applying. It is essential for the candidates to satisfy the specific requirements stated by the University to be eligible for the exam
  • Candidate must have qualified Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks
  • Those who have qualified the Bridge Course from AMU with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible
  • The maximum age limit is 22 years, as noted on July 1 of the year the candidate gains admission

  • AMU BA LLB Admission through AMU Admission Test. Admission shall be offered through Counselling

 

Eligibility for LLM Course:>

  • All aspirants who possess a graduation degree in LLB/BA LLB course offered at Aligarh Muslim University or any other recognised university with at least 55% aggregate marks meet the AMU law entrance exam 2018 eligibility criteria for LLM course admissions

Application Fee and Payment

  • The application fee for AMU BA LLB 2018 is an amount of Rs.600/- for BA LLB Programs and Rs.400/- for LLM Program the candidate can pay it via a Demand Draft (in case of offline mode) or by using a credit / debit card or net banking (in case of online mode)
  • The DD should be drawn in favour of Finance Officer, A.M.U., Aligarh and should be payable at Aligarh.
  • For AMU law entrance exam 2018 registrations aspirants need to apply in the online mode only. Candidates need to fill the AMU law entrance exam 2018 application form on the official website of the university www.amucontrollerexams.com
  • After filling the AMU application form, aspirants can submit it either in the online mode or take a print out of it (in the PDF form) to post it at the below-mentioned address:

Appear for AMU Law Entrance Exam

  • Next, aspirants need to appear for AMU law entrance exam 2018 at the allotted test centre. AMU law entrance exam 2018 will be of two hours duration and will contain a total of 100 questions (objective and subjective)

 

Exam Pattern

  • For BA LLB Course
  • AMU law entrance exam 2018 test pattern for BA LLB course is such that the question paper will contain 75 objective-type (75% weightage) questions and 10 subjective-type short questions. Aspirants need to complete the exam in two hours duration
  • Questions in the exam will be based on subjects such as General English, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, as well as Reasoning and Aptitude

For LLM Course
