Jharkhand ANM GNM Admission 2023 – Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) invites application for Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination for admission to 2 year ANM, 3 year GNM in ANM Training Centres, GNM Schools for the academic session 2023-24
 
The Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECEB NECE) is a State level Nursing Entrance Exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (ANM/GNM)

  • Minimum: 17 Years (31 December 2023)
  • Maximum: 35 Years (31 December 2023)

Educational Qualification

ANM Nursing

  • 10+2 Passed with Arts/Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) & English with 45% marks from recognized or other equivalent Board.
  • Students appearing in the 10+2 examination in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks students shall be medically fit.
  • Only female candidates are eligible for the ANM course.

GNM Nursing

  • The minimum and Maximum ages for admission will be 17 and 35 years as on 31 December 2023. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.
  • 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible from State Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational ANM from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
  • Registered ANM with a pass mark.
  • Students shall be medically fit.
  • Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science – Vocational stream only conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.

 

Application Process

  • Candidates who wish to pursue the diploma degree of GNM from Jharkhand can do so by applying for the Nursing Entrance Competitive Examinations (NECE) conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).
  • The Application Form is available only in online mode on the official website of JCECEB jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in

Steps to Apply

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on ‘Online Application Submission – JCECEB’
  • Click on ‘Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination-2023 (NECE-2023) ’
  • In the NECE tab click on the ‘Useful Important Link’ Section
  • Fill in the required details
  • Create Login Credentials.
  • Log in and fill in the form with the required information as stated.
  • Upload the documents.
  • Submit the form and pay the applicable fees.
  • Application fees can be paid online mode only. The application fee is INR 900 (INR 450 in case of reserved categories)

 

Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam – The exam is an OMR BASED / OFF-LINE test.
  • Question type – The questions are MCQ.
  • Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 150.
  • Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 2 hours 30 minutes.
