What are the career options if I do not clear the NEET exam?

The NEET Exam is the single medical entrance exam for those who want to do a degree in MBBS or BDS. Many students appear for the NEET exam every year but only a few get selected. Those of you who do not get through the NEET exam need not be disappointed. You can also make your career in different fields, if you couldn’t clear the NEET Exam. You should never lose hope, you can try some other options in the medical field. Some of the career options for those who did not clear the NEET exam are as follows-
 

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

You can apply for admission to a degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)  in different streams such as botany, bioinformatics, biophysics, zoology, biochemistry, microbiology and others. You can also make a bright career in these fields. If you want to be an MRI technician, then you can go for B.Sc. in radiography.
 

Nutritionist and Dietician

You can also make your career in different fields such as nutritionist and dietician. You can apply for a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and after that do a master’s degree in nutrition. Nutrition and dietetics is an upcoming career option. One can get placed in hospitals, gyms or even open a diet clinic.
 

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

Bachelor of Physiotherapy is the study of the science of physical movement. It helps the people to maintain, increase, and also restore their physical mobility, function, and strength. If you have completed your 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology then you are eligible for this course. Some top universities conduct entrance examinations for admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
 

Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology (B.Tech. Biotechnology)

B.Tech Biotechnology is a four years undergraduate program where you can apply after 10+2. After the completion of B.Tech Biotechnology, you can make your career in different fields such as pharmaceutical firms, chemical and textile industries, manufacturing industries and agricultural sectors. You can also make your career in research with this degree. The average salary after this course is INR 5,00,000.
 

Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences

Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences is a 3 years to 5 years undergraduate course. It is the study of treatment of disease of the non-human animals. After the completion of this course, the candidate can find a job in private as well as government sectors. This course has great scope and it is all about the treatment and study of diseases of animals and pets. You can take admission in the course after 12th (PCB).
