General Admission Requirements for M.Sc. Courses

  • MSc. (Pharmacology) – MBBS passed or its equivalent qualification from a University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or B.Sc (Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry taken together) or B.v.Sc. Or B. Pharma passed from a recognized University.
  • MSC. (Biochemistry) – B.Sc. or B.Sc. (Hons.) or B.Sc. (Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry taken together) from a recognized University or Institute with 55% marks for general category and 50% for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes/OBC
  • MSc. (Respiratory Care) – For General Candidates: B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or B.Sc. in Nursing or B.Sc. Medical or Bachelor of Physiotherapy from any University within India or equivalent degree from any other recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks
  • For Sponsored Candidates – Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or B.Sc. in Nursing or B.Sc. Medical or Bachelor of Physiotherapy from any University within India or equivalent degree from any other recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks at least 3 years experience in their respective fields after obtaining qualification of B.Sc.
  • Master of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (MASLP) – For General Candidate: B.Sc. (Audiology & Speech Therapy) or Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology from any recognized University/Institute with at least 50% marks and one year Internship after obtaining the qualification of B.Sc.
  • For Sponsored Candidates – Sc. (Audiology & Speech Therapy) or Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology from any recognized University/Institute with at least 50% marks and at least 3 years experience in their respective field after obtaining qualification of B.Sc.
  • MSc. (Anaesthesia) – For Sponsored Candidates: B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Operation Theatre) from a recognized University with at least55% marks and at least 3 years experience in their respective fields after obtaining qualification of B.Sc. General Admission Requirements for M.Sc MLT Courses
  • MSc. Medical Technology (Radiodiagnosis) – B.Sc. with diploma in Radiography from a University/Institute recognized by this Institute and having cleared with at least 55% marks each exam with not more than one attempt and three years experience as a technician in the concerned subject Or
  • MSc. Medical Technology degree (X-ray/Radiology/Radiodiagnosis & Imaging) from a University/Institute recognized by this Institute with at least 55% marks and three years experience as a technician in the subject concerned
  • MSc. Medical Technology (Radiotherapy) – B.Sc. Medical Technology (Radiotherapy) from a University/Institute recognized by this Institute and having cleared with at least 55% marks and three years experience as a technician in the subject in which admission is sought from a teaching research Institute/Hospital after obtaining qualification of B.Sc. or B.Sc. Medical Technology.
  • MSc. Medical Technology (Sr. No 1 to 7) – B.Sc. or B.Sc. Medical Technology degree from a University/Institute recognized by this Institute with at least 55% marks and three years experience as a technician in the subject in which admission is sought from a teaching research Institute/Hospital after obtaining qualification of B.Sc. or B.Sc. Medical Technology.
  • Note : Relaxation of 5% marks in the b.sc. Medical Technology Degree to the candidates from SC/ST Category having 15 years of regular service, who wish to pursue m.sc. Medical Technology Course of the Institute, as an in-service candidate for the purpose of eligibility for admission to the Medical Technology course of the Institute.

Other Eligibility Conditions & Requirements

  • Sponsored / Deputed Candidates – A candidate applying for admission is required to furnish the following certificates from his/her employer for admission to the course:-
  • That the candidate concerned is a permanent or regular employee of the deputing/sponsoring authority for at least three years.
  • After getting the training at PGI, Chandigarh the candidate will be suitably employed by the deputing/sponsoring authority to work in the subject in which the training is received by the candidate at PGI, Chandigarh.

 

PGIMER Chandigarh M.Sc and M.Sc. MLT Admission Application Process 2022 

  • A candidate seeking admission to the Entrance Examination is required to submit his/her application in the prescribed format available online with the Prospectus on pgimer.edu.in

 

Online Registration

  • After selecting the online registration, fill the mandatory details asked for and deposit the prescribed fee through debit/credit card/Net Banking.
  • After submitting fees, filling the required information step by step. Follow the Instructions carefully.
  • It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that correct details are filled in the Registration Slip
  • No candidate should register more than one application.
  • All applicants are required to ensure that Photo/Signature is uploaded according to the instructions provided in the Prospectus. Failure to do so may result in rejection of applications.

  • For SC/ST Category : Rs. 1200/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
  • For General /OBC/Sponsored Category : Rs. 1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable.
