Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences announces Entrance Exam for Admission to PhD, PDCC, PGCC and Certificate Courses 2019 July Session

ILBS PhD, PDCC, PGCC and Certificate Admission 2019 - Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi invites applications from the eligible candidates to appear for ILBS Entrance Exam for the PhD, PDCC, PGCC and Certificate Courses admission for the academic year starting from 01st July 2019.

In this notification, we have updated detailed information about Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences Admission 2019 including application form, eligibility, exam dates, pattern, etc.

ILBS New Delhi (Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences Admission)

  1. Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an autonomous super-specialty institute of excellence under Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The Deemed-to-be-University status was conferred to ILBS by the UGC under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

 

ILBS PhD, PDCC, PGCC and Certificate Admission 2019 Important Dates

  1. Last date of filling online application form is 12th May 2019
  2. The entrance exam will be held on 26th May 2019 for all the courses
  3. Department Assessment: 27th May 2019
  4. The course shall commence from 01st July 2019

 

Duration of All the Courses

  1. PDCC & PGCC - One-year duration
  2. Certificate Courses - 06 months duration
  3. PhD - 3-5 years duration

 

Courses and Eligibility Criteria for ILBS PhD, PDCC, PGCC and Certificate Admission 2019

Eligibility for PhD Courses

  1. PhD in Molecular & Cellular Medicine/Clinical Nutrition/Epidemiology of Viral Hepatitis and Liver Diseases:
  2. NET/NEET-qualified candidates (with independent fellowship)- direct interview / Departmental Assessment.
  3. Non-NET/NEET candidates - written test followed by interview/Departmental Assessment. Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Zoology, Microbiology) or a Professional degree (MBBS, Master Degree in Medical or Dental Sciences, M.Tech., M.Pharma., M.V.Sc or other degrees) declared equivalent to Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory body. Candidates should have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade as per UGC rules.

 

Eligibility for PDCC/PGCC and Certificate Courses

  1. PDCC in Liver Transplant Anesthesia: MD/DNB in Anesthesia or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized by IMC Act 1956
  2. PDCC in HPB Interventional Radiology: MD/DNB in Radiology or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized by IMC Act 1956
  3. PDCC in Pediatric Hepatology: MD/DNB in Paediatric or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized by IMC Act 1956
  4. PDCC Hepatopathology: MD/DNB in Pathology or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized by IMC Act 1956
  5. PDCC in Nephrology: MD/DNB in Medicine or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized by IMC Act 1956
  6. PDCC in Hepatic and Transplant Virology: MD (Microbiology) or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized by IMC Act 1956
  7. PDCC in Critical Care Medicine (with specialization in Liver Intensive care): MD (Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Anesthesia) or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized by IMC Act 1956
  8. PDCC in HPB / GI Oncology: MD (Medicine/Pediatrics/Radiotherapy) or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized under IMC Act 1956
  9. PDCC in Abdominal Imaging: MD (Radiology) or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized under IMC Act 1956
  10. PDCC in Blood Banking & Immunohaematology: MD (Pathology/Laboratory Medicine) or equivalent Postgraduate qualification recognized under IMC Act 1956
  11. PDCC in Advanced Diagnostic and Clinical Microbiology: MD/DNB in Microbiology
  12. PDCC in Apheresis Technology: MD (Transfusion Medicine/Pathology/Laboratory
  13. Medicine)
  14. PDCC in Cellular Transplant Immunology: MD/DNB (Microbiology/Haematology) / Ph.D. in Immunology
  15. PGCC in Clinical Nutrition: M.Sc./MBBS
  16. PGCC in Epidemiology of Viral Hepatitis and Liver Diseases: BAMS / BHMS / MBBS / BDS / BSc. Nursing / M.Sc. Statistics
  17. PGCC in Clinical Research in Liver Diseases: BAMS / BHMS / MBBS / BDS / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Statistics
  18. Certificate Course in Nephrology: MBBS
  19. Critical Care Certification Course: MBBS with one-year experience in Critical Care
  20. Eligibility for Short Term Courses
  21. Short Term Training in HVPG & TJLB: For Indian Candidates: DM in Gastroenterology, or MD in Radiology with three years experience in Intervention Radiology; For overseas candidates: Fellowship in Gastroenterology / Hepatology, or Radiologist with three years experience in Intervention Radiology.
  22. Short Term Training in Research Department: M.Sc. or MBBS
  23. Short Term Training in Clinical Virology: MD Microbiology or MD Lab Medicine
  24. Short Term Training in Hepatopathology: MD Pathology
  25. Short Term Training in Hematology (for technical grade): DMLT or B.Sc
  26. Short Term Training in Hematology (for MD/DCH): MD (Medicine / Pediatrics / Pathology) or DCH
  27. Short Term Training in Biochemistry (Automation in Diagnostics): MD Biochemistry or MD Lab Medicine
  28. Short Term Training in Biochemistry (Immunological Techniques): MD Biochemistry or MD Lab Medicine
  29. Short Term Course in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Radiology: MD Radiology
  30. Short Term Training in Transient Elastography: DM Gastroenterology / Hepatology or MD Radiology
  31. Short Term Training in Endoscopic Ultrasound: DM Gastroenterology / Hepatology

 

Upper Age Limit

  1. For Degree/PDCC/PGCC and Certificate Courses: 40 (Forty) years (as on 31st May’2019), relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
  2. For Short Courses: 55 (Fifty five) years (as on 31st May’2019), relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/overseas candidates.

 

Selection Procedure

 

  1. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of all India entrance test; all applications must be screened for eligibility and only the eligible candidates would be called for the entrance test

 

ILBS PhD, PDCC, PGCC and Certificate Admission 2019 Application Process

    • Candidates must ensure their eligibility from the prospectus before applying.
    • Candidates should submit their application online at the ILBS website (http://www.ilbs.in). The applications for in-service candidates for sponsored seat must be routed through proper channel.
    • The application fee is Rs.5000/- for PDCC courses, Rs.2500/- for PGCC courses and Rs.1000/- for Ph.D. and Certificate Courses. The fee must be paid by net-banking/debit/credit cards. The application fee once paid will not be refunded even in case of his/her application is rejected.
