IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Exam
The OPENMAT conducted for admission to management programmes at the Indira Gandhi National Open University is known as the IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Exam. The university conducts the exam for admissions to programmes in Management; MBA (Master in Business Administration), DIM (Diploma in Management), PGDIM (PG Diploma in Management), PGDHRM (PG Diploma in Human Resource Management), PGDFM (PG Diploma in Financial Management), PGDOM (PG Diploma in Operations Management), PGDMM (PG Diploma in Marketing Management) and PGDFMP (Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice).
IGNOU OPENNET for B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic)
The post basic B.Sc. Nursing is a three year degree programme for in-service nurses the admission to which in IGNOU is conducted through an entrance examination which is the OPENNET. There are Programme Study Centres, which are existing Colleges of Nursing, already conduction Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme or B.Sc. Nursing Programme. These Colleges of Nursing are recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. The programme has been revised based on the revised syllabus of INC (2001). The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme comprises 108 credits (40 credits in theory and 68 credits in practical).
IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test
Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts an entrance exam for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme. In order to take admission in the IGNOU B.Ed Programme one has to clear the IGNOU B.Ed admission cum entrance test. The B.Ed. Programme of IGNOU aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by practising teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the secondary stage. The programme also provides opportunities of sharing experiences gained by practising teachers. B.Ed programme of IGNOU is recognized by all member Universities of Association of India Universities (AIU) and is at par with Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates of all Indian Universities/Institutions.
IGNOU M.Ed Entrance Test
The IGNOU M.Ed. entrance test is conducted by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for admission to the Master of Education (M.Ed.) Programme. The M.Ed Programme has been designed and development jointly by DEC, IGNOU and NCTE is an innovative programme utilizing self-instructional materials and information technology along with interactive personal contact programmes The programmes is essentially a judicious mix of theoretical and practical courses to develop in practicing teacher appropriate knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes The M.Ed. programme of IGNOU is recognized by the NCTE vide their Latter No. NRC/NCTE/F-3DH-389/2007/40280 dated 15th May, 2008 and is offered in NCTE recognized teacher education institutions in the country.
