DM/M.Ch/Ph.D/PDCC-2012

Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an autonomous super-speciality institute of excellence under Govt of National Capital Territory of Delhi

ILBS has a deemed-to-be-university status conferred to it by the UGC u/s 3 of the UGC Act 1956

The institute is inviting application for DM/M.Ch/Ph.D and PDCC courses, recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), in the academic session August, 2012

DM Hepatology (04 seats)

M.Ch HPB Surgery (02 seats)

Ph.D Biomedical Sciences (04 seats)

PDCC in Liver Transplant Anesthesia (02 seats)

PDCC in HPS Interventional Radiology (02 seats)

Applications on prescribed forms are invited from eligible candidates for admission test to the above courses

Eligibility

DM Hepatology: Candidate must possess MBBS degree recognized by the MCI

MD/DNB degree in Medicine or Pediatrics recognized by the MCI

M.Ch Hepato-Pancreato-Billary (HPB) Surgery: Candidate must possess MBBS degree recognized by the MCI

MS/DNB degree in General Surgery recognized by the MCI

Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences: A degree of Master of Sciences or Master’s degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences with at least 60% marks or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diploma of the National Board of Examinations

MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations

PDCC in Liver Transplant Anesthesia: MD/DNB in Anaesthesia

PDCC in HPB Interventional Radiology: MD/DNB in Radiology

How to apply: Candidate may download the prospectus along with the application form from the ILBS website www.ilbs.in

Candidate must ensure their eligibility from the prospectus before applying

Application form duly filled in with all necessary documents attached should be submitted in person or sent by post to the Associate Dean, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), D-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070 on or before 31st May, 2012, 5.00 p.m.

Application form must be accompanied by the application fee in form of demand draft for Rs 2500/- (Rs two thousand five hundred) only, payable at New Delhi, in favor of the Director, ILBS, New Delhi

Application fee once paid will not be refunded even in case of his/her application is rejected

The filled in applications received after the prescribed date and time shall not be considered

The institute will not be responsible for non-receipt of applications or delay in postal transit

In-service candidates shall route their application forms through proper channel

Procedure for Admission: Selection of candidates for DM/M.Ch/Ph.D/PDCC courses will be made on the basis of entrance test

All applications would be screened for eligibility and only the eligible candidates would be called for the entrance test

Schedule of Entrance Test

Written examination at New Delhi 01st July, 2012, Sunday

Departmental assessment 02nd July, 2012, Monday

The courses shall commence from 01st August, 2012
