Manipur Medical Directorate announces Admission to General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), Female Health Worker (FHW) and M.Sc Nursing Courses 2020-21

Manipur GNM, FHW and M.Sc Nursing Admission 2020 – Government of Manipur, Medical Directorate has published a notification for eligible candidates for admission to undergoing General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), Female Health Worker (FHW) and M.Sc Nursing Training Courses under Directorate of Health Services and Directorate of Family Welfare Services, Government of Manipur for the academic session 2020-21

 

Manipur GNM, FHW and M.Sc Nursing Admission 2020 Important Dates
Issue of Application Form 03rd to 09th October 2020
Last date for submission of application form 12th October 2020
Issue of acknowledgement Card 16th to 20th October 2020
Date of Counselling 23rd October 2020

Eligibility Criteria for Manipur GNM, FHW and M.Sc Nursing Admission 2020
For GNM & FHW Courses The minimum age of admission shall be 17 years not exceeding 35 years on or before 31st December 2020
The minimum educational requirement shall be 10+2 in Arts/Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core / English Elective or Science or Health Care Science- Vocational stream only passing out from an Institute recognized by Board/Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent body / council including National Institute of Open Schools.
Candidates qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
 

For M.Sc. Nursing Courses

 The minimum age of admission shall be 22 years not exceeding 35 years on or before 31st December 2020
Passed B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% aggregate marks from any Indian Nursing council recognized nursing college and in case of SC/ST/BC category minimum 50% aggregate marks.
Must be registered nurse & Registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing registration council
The candidate must have minimum one year of work experience after B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (honors) or one year work experience prior or after Post Basic B.sc.nursing.
Fitness Students shall be medically fit (Physical fitness certificate should be enclosed)

Manipur GNM, FHW and M.Sc Nursing Admission 2020 Application Process
  • Application form can be downloaded from the official website of Director of Health Services http://www.manipurhealthdirectorate.in/
  • Prescribed application form will also be available from the Director of Health Services, Lamphe.
  • Candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
  • The duly filled in application form along with the enclosures shall be submitted directly to the Medical Directorate, Lamphel on or before 12th October 2020.

For General category candidates Rs. 300/-
For SC/ST category candidates Rs. 200/-
Counselling fee Rs. 300/-
For M.Sc Nursing Courses:
Application Fee Rs. 600/-
Counselling fee Rs. 500/-
Mode of Payment Through Offline mode

Selection Process
Selection will be based on the marks in the qualifying exam.
