Eligibility Criteria for KGMU Lucknow PB Diploma in Psychiatry Nursing Course 2020
Nationality The candidate must be an Indian National.
Minimum qualification Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Psychiatry Nursing i.e. Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or GNM or equivalent Course from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for Unreserved (UR) and OBC.
For SC/ST minimum of 45% marks in aggregate is essential.

  • Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website www.kgmcindia.edu, www.kgmu.org.
  • Online Application can be submitted on the website. First register and create Login ID and Password on the website as directed and keep it for all future correspondence.
  • Fill all the entries in the application form carefully and check them before final submission as wrongly filled. or incomplete application forms will be rejected and no enquiry will be entertained regarding this.
  • By Credit card /Debit card (Master/Visa card only) or Net banking till 26.09.2020 (Saturday) Candidate can directly proceed filling of application form after payment.
  • Candidate can also deposit cash through bank Challan of Indian Bank (Allahabad Bank)/ HDFC Bank till 24.09.2020 (Thursday) For this first download bank Challan from website www.kgmu.org and deposit the examination fee in any branch of Indian Bank or HDFC Bank branch in India.
  • Please take a printout of the completed application form. Login with the same Login ID and Password will be required for obtaining the Admit card.

Selection Procedure
  • The selection shall be done by merit list made on the basis of Diploma (Psychiatry Nursing) Entrance Examination-2020.
  • The written examination for admission in DPN Course shall be held on – 11.10.2020 (Sunday) at 11.00AM to 12.30 Noon. The center shall be intimated in the admit card.
  • Candidates 4 times the number of seats shall be called for an interview from the merit list prepared.

  • The question paper shall consist of a wide range of topics from the syllabus of R.N. & R.M/GNM.

  • Admit cards will only be released for the candidates who have submitted the application form on or before the last date. Admit card contains the important details regarding the exams like examination time, venue and instruction which candidates must follow during the examination time.
  • Admit card can also be obtained in person (in case of inability to download) on 11.10.2020 between 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM from the Office of Examination Section Pariksha Bhawan (PHI), KG Medical University, U.P, Lucknow on payment of Rs.100/-
