Eligibility Criteria for Kannur University M.Ed Admission 2020
  • B. Ed. Degree of the Kannur University or a B. Ed. Degree recognized by Kannur University as equivalent thereto with not less than 50% marks.
  • Relaxation in marks will be given to SEBC/OEC/SC/ST, PWD candidates as per the University Admission Rules for Master’s Degree Course.
  • 4 year Integrated Teacher Education Degree Programme (B.El.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/B.A.Ed) recognized by Kannur University. (In case of integrated degree Programmes-B.Sc.B.Ed/B.A.B.Ed, aggregate marks/grade in Education papers alone will be considered).

  • Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website  http://admission.kannuruniversity.ac.in/
  • The completed application form with an application fee of Rs 555/- (110/- for SC/ST applicants) as online payment receipt and with attested copies of relevant documents should reach the Head of the Department, School of Pedagogical Sciences, Dharamsala, Kannur University Campus P.O, Kannur, PIN – 670 567 on or before the last date notified by the University.
  • Late and incomplete applications will summarily be rejected. The selection procedure will be strictly in compliance with the Prospectus and Kannur University Policy.
  • The fee should be paid online through SBI collect under the head PG Department – Registration fee (General/SEBC), PG Department – Registration fee (SC/ST).

Selection Process

The selection shall be from the rank list prepared on the basis of the following criteria:

a)

Mark of Qualifying Degree/Entrance Examination conducted by the University. Entrance Examination will be conducted, only if the number of applicants exceeds the sanctioned strength of the Programme.

 B. Ed. Degree from Kannur University – 5 points/marks.

 b)

Teaching Service (recognized teaching service in Govt. /Govt. Aided Schools): 5% (1 mark for each completed year subject to a maximum of 5 marks).
