JIPMER PDF and PDCC Admission 2023 – Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry invites online applications from eligible candidates for Entrance Exam for admission to Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) and Post-Doctoral Certificate Courses (PDCC) for the academic session starting from July 2023.

Nationality

  • Applicants must be an Indian National (IN) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).

  • PDF & PDC Courses: Critical Care (Anesthesiology): MD/DNB Anesthesiology/General Medicine from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.
  • Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing: DM/DNB Cardiology from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.
  • Paediatric Dermatology: MD/DNB Dermatology/Dermatology, Venerology & Leprology from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.
  • Lasers and Dermatosurgery: MD/DNB Dermatology from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.
  • Diabetology: MD/DNB General Medicine from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India
  • Infectious Diseases: MD/DNB General Medicine/Paediatrics from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.
  • Hemato-Oncology: MD/DNB Medicine from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.
  • Hospital Infection Control: MD/DNB Microbiology from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India

(OR) MD/DNB Pathology from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India with one year blood bank work experience from an Academic Post Graduate Institute.
  • Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary Surgery: MCh/DNB Surgical Gastroenterology/Gastrointestinal Surgery from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.
  • Gynaecology Oncology: MS/DNB Obst & Gynae from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.

 

Application Process

  • Candidates seeking admission to the entrance exam are required to apply online mode only. Any other mode of application will not be accepted).
  • Log on to the Home page www.jipmer.edu.in and navigate to the link “Apply on-line PDF & PDC COURSES Admission 2023”
  • Read the prospectus and instructions carefully.
  • The flow chart for filling application on-line given as (ANNEXURE-I) in the Prospectus
  • Candidate should acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling up the application online.

 

Application Fee

  • General (UR) / EWSs / OCI – Rs.1600 + Transaction Charges as applicable
  • OBC – Rs.1600 + Transaction Charges as applicable
  • SC/ST – Rs.1200 + Transaction Charges as applicable
  • PwD – Exempted From Application Fees

Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: JIPMER PDF & PDC 2020 exam will get conducted in online mode (Computer-based) mode
  • Exam Duration: 1½ hours (One hour and Thirty minutes)
  • Language of Exam: The exam will be held in English language.
  • Questions Type: The question paper will consist of objective type of questions.
    • Part-I MD/MS Curriculum & Bio-statistics/Research Methodology/Basic computer awareness/Basic Science  – 60 Questions
    • Part-II Subjects of the PDF/PDC Courses applied for – 40 Questions
  • No. of Questions: Total of 100 questions will be asked in the test
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will award 4 marks
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer

 

Hall Ticket

  • Candidates can download their Hall Tickets for the Entrance Examination from 18-05- 2023 (Thursday) 11 AM onwards.

 

MOCK TEST

  • Candidates are advised to attempt the Mock Test for computer-based Test (online examination). The link for mock test and Candidate Experience video will be available on www.jipmer.edu.in (PDF & PDCC Course Entrance Examination)
