Charpak – Research Internship Program 2017

Charpak France announced Charpak Research Internship Program 2017 for all students of economics, engineering and natural science background of graduation and post graduation levels who are planning to pursue training at a French laboratory during their academic break i.e. May to July 2017

The applications will be selected on the basis of the academic excellence, as well as the consistency and quality of your statement of purpose

Field of Internship: Interns should be students of Economics, Engineering and Science background at the bachelor’s or master’s levels planning to pursue training in a French laboratory

Course Level: Internship

Internship Duration: The duration of the internship must not be less than 2 months and must not exceed 3 months, i.e., during May-July 2017

Student visa fee waiver
Monthly stipend of 310 euros for maximum 3 months (May to July) is provided by the Embassy
Medical insurance coverage (approx 300 euros)
Assistance to find affordable student accommodation
*Some institutions provide an allowance of 550 euros to interns in France interning for more than 8 weeks. However, the applicant needs to check with the host institution for the allowance

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must be an Indian national and reside in India.
Not more than be 30 years old maximum at the time of application
Be currently enrolled at an Indian institution of higher learning that has a tie-up with the French Institution where the applicant will pursue an exchange semester. Please note that it is mandatory
Final semester project and laboratory research in a partner institute in France is not applicable

Selection Procedure

Your application will be selected on the basis of your academic excellence, as well as the consistency and quality of your statement of purpose
There is no CGPA/percentage cut-off for the scholarship. Knowledge of French will be an asset but is not mandatory; a tie-up between your current Indian institution and your future French institution will also be an asset

Step 2: Complete
Read the application form carefully and fill each section of the Word format document by using Arial, font size 10. Do not alter the format of the application form. Mention how you initially came to know about the Charpak programme

Step 3: Submit. Send the following documents to scholarship.france@gmail.com
