Eligibility Criteria for Sri Ramachandra University Undergraduate Paramedical Admission 2019

  • Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) - 5+1-year Internship  - Must have passed the 10+2 examinations or Equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with either Mathematics (or) Biology (or Botany & Zoology)
  • B. Pharmacy [Duration: 4 years] : Must have passed the 10+2 exams or Equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) or English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  • B.Sc. Nursing [Duration: 4 years]: Must have passed the 10+2 exams or Equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) For B.Sc. Nursing 45% of mark in 10+2 in PCBE
  • BASLP (Bachelor of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology) [Duration: 3+1-year Internship]: Must have passed the 10+2 exams or Equivalent qualification with (a) pass in English (b) 50% of marks with the following subjects - Physics, Chemistry and any one of following:- Biology or Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Electronics or Psychology or Biotechnology or any Science subject
  • B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic): Pass in Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from an institution recognised by INC - Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife of Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai.
  • BPT [Duration: 4 + 6-months internship]: Must have passed the 10+2 examinations or Equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)
  • BOT [4 years + 6 months internship]: Must have passed the 10+2 examinations or Equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany & Zoology

For Group B Courses

  • Should have studied in a recognized School and passed H.S.C. Examination (Academic Stream of 10+2 curriculum) of any State Board/CBSE/ISC (or) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with the group of subjects specified below and obtained the minimum eligible marks prescribed by this University.
  • Candidates who are appearing for HSC (+2) or equivalent examination in March / April 2019 are also eligible to appear for the Interview
  • B.Sc.(Hons) Sports and Exercise Sciences and B.Sc. (Trauma Care Management):  Passed the HSC with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or (Botany &  Zoology)/ Mathematics
  • B.Sc. Clinical Nutrition: Passed the HSC with Nutrition and Dietetics/ Home science/Basic science subjects with English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology/ Biology and /or Mathematics/ Computer Science.
  • B.B.A. Hospital and Health Systems Management:  Pass in HSC or Equivalent
  • B.Sc. (Hons) Medical Microbiology and Applied Molecular Biology: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (or) English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology (or) English, Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology.
  • B.Sc. Bioinformatics, B.Sc. Health Informatics and B.Sc. Data Sciences: Candidate should have passed HSC(+2) or equivalent examination with one of the following subject combinations:-

i) English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics.  (or)
ii) English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.  (or)
iii) English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Sciences.

  • B.Sc. (Hons) Environmental Health Sciences: Candidate should have passed HSC(+2) or equivalent examination with one of the following subject combinations:

i) English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics (or)
ii) English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

  • B.Sc. Applied Psychology:  Candidate should have passed HSC (+2) or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology(or) English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology/Home Science.
  • B.Sc. Clinical Research:  Candidate should have passed HSC (+2) or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology.

Age Limit

  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December. Date of birth entered in the Mark Statement of HSC/CBSE/ISC or its equivalent Exams or in the Birth Certificate or Passport shall be taken for computing the age of the candidates

Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be made on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Exam for Group A Candidates. Group B candidates will be selected for Admission on the basic of Interview
  • Intimation letter will be sent to the candidates provisionally selected for admission. Course allotment will be made through counseling in the order of merit
  • In case of candidates who secure the same marks in the Entrance Examination, ranking will be made based on their academic performance in the qualifying exam prescribed

  • Separate application form should be obtained for each group
  • Application form  can be obtain in person by paying Rs. 1000/- at the Deemed to be University office OR can be downloaded from the given website www.sriramachandra.edu.in
  • Candidate should enclose a demand draft for Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) drawn in favour of “Sri Ramachandra University” payable at Chennai towards the application and exam fee
  • Application Fee will not be refunded under any circumstances
