Karnataka PG Medical and Dental Admission 2020 – Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released official notification for eligible candidates for Centralised counselling for admission to Post Graduate Medical and Dental (Degree and Diploma) Courses for the year 2020-21 in the State of Karnataka. Candidates who have qualified in NEET PG 2020 / NEET MDS 2020 can submit their application online till April 20, 2020

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka PG Medical and Dental Admission 2020

Government of Karnataka / Director Medical Education, Karnataka / PG Entrance Test Committee as shown below.
(i) Candidates should have scored more than or equal to the prescribed minimum score in NEET- PG 2020 / NEET MDS 2020.
(ii) Candidate should have completed his/her MBBS/BDS courses from recognized institutes by MCI/DCI respectively.
(iii) He/ She has completed or is completing ‘Compulsory Rotating Internship’ on or before 31st March 2020.
(iv) For In-service candidates the age limit is 48 years as on 31st March 2020.
(v) Please note that SC / ST / OBC / Linguistic minority eligibility criteria are applicable to as per State Government policy only. However, if any OBC candidate of Karnataka has not claimed OBC in NEET can claim respective category in NEET PG -2020
Eligibility for Government seats (G) seats:
(i) A candidate must be a citizen of India; and
(ii) have studied and passed MBBS/BDS in a recognized Medical /Dental institution in the state of Karnataka; or
(iii) have studied and passed MBBS/BDS in recognized Medical/ Dental institutions located in India and has studied for a minimum period of ten academic years commencing from 1st standard to 12th standard and must have appeared and passed either SSLC or 10th standard or 2nd PUC or 12th standard equivalent examination from the Karnataka State are eligible.”
In case of the candidate who has taken more than one year to pass a class or standard, the years of academic study is counted as one year only
Eligibility Criteria For Foreign Nationals
Foreign national’s qualification should be duly registered with appropriate registering authority in his / her own country where he / she has obtained his / her basic medical graduate qualification, and is duly recognized by the corresponding Medical Council or concerned authority. Further, should obtain a temporary registration certificate for the duration of the PG course from MCI / DCI.

 

Karnataka PG Medical and Dental Admission 2020 Application Process

  1. Candidates shall apply “Online” only for Karnataka State NEET PG- 2020 and upload the documents on the same KEA Website.
  1. Online submission of Application Form shall be made on https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pget
  1. Registration of application form for appearing in the NEET PG 2020 is to be undertaken online only at https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pget Application forms CANNOT be submitted in offline / printed copy by post.
  1. Uploading of documents online is mandatory. Candidates should download documents with verified slips. 1.2No request for change of details in an online application shall be entertained.
