For Entrance Test & admission to D. Pharm, B. Pharm, B. Pharm Practice and Pharm.D–2019

  2. Date of Downloading of Test Admission Tickets (TAT/Hall Ticket) by all the eligible applicants: 17th June 2019
  3. Date of Common Entrance Test/Announcement of Test results/Counseling/Admission: 24th June 2019

Eligibility Criteria for JSS University Pharmacy Admission 2019

Requisite qualification for D. Pharm course.

  1. Pass in H.Sc./PDC/PUC/10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Mathematics.

 

Requisite Qualification for admission to B. Pharm course:

  1. Pass in H.Sc/PDC/PUC/10+2 with an aggregate of 40% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Mathematics and also English passed separately. In case of SC/ST/OBC, the minimum percentage of marks for admission to B. Pharm Course shall be not less than 35% in P.U.C. or its equivalent examination in P.C.B, or P.C.M.

 

Bachelor of Pharmacy Practice (B. Pharm. Pr.)

  1. Pass in Diploma in Pharmacy Course from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India approved under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act 1948.

 

  1. Registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.
  1. Minimum of four years of pharmacy practice experience in a community or hospital pharmacy.

 

Requisite Qualification for admission to Pharm D. course:

  1. Pass in H.Sc.,/PDC/PUC/10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Mathematics; Or

 

  1. Pass in D. Pharm examination from PCI approved institution.

Requisite qualification for Pharm D. (Post Baccalaureate) course.

  1. Pass in B. Pharm from the recognized University and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

 

Requisite Qualification for admission to M. Pharm Course:

  1. A candidate who has passed B. Pharm course from any recognized University or any other equivalent degree in pharmacy recognized by the pharmacy council of India (PCI) and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for admission and who has secured not less than 50% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years) prescribed for the qualifying examination, shall be eligible for admission to the M. Pharm course. (In case of SC/ST/OBC category, candidates has to secure not less than 40% (aggregate of four years)

 

Age Limit

  1. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2019 for admission to D. Pharm B. Pharm, B. Pharm Pr. and Pharm-D program.

 

Syllabus for Entrance Test:

  1. The syllabus for entrance test for admission to D. Pharm, B. Pharm and Pharm D and program will be at level of 10+2 / PUC examination in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
  2. The syllabus for entrance test for admission to M. Pharm & Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate) course will be on the basis of questions at III year and Final year of B. Pharm course.

  1. D. Pharm: Rs. 40,000/- Per year + other fee
  2. B. Pharm: Rs. 1,10,000/- Per year + other fee
  3. II B. Pharm: (Lateral Entry) Rs. 1,10,000/- Per year + other fee
  4. Pharm D: Rs. 2,50,000/- Per year + other fee
  5. Pharm: D. (Post Baccalaureate) Rs. 2,50,000/- Per year + other fee
  6. B. Pharm Practice: Rs. 60,000/-Per year + other fee
  7. M. Pharm: Rs. 2,00,000/- Per year + other fee

JSS University Pharmacy Admission 2019 Application Process

  1. Candidates are advised to read the Instructions carefully before starting “online registration and filling of online application form. Candidates have to provide all the information required for each entry during filling of online application.
  2. Candidates can register for admission to Diploma, Undergraduate & Postgraduate Pharmacy Programs only through “Online”.
  3. Before filling the application form, please scan and store the latest Photograph and Signature as separate files in JPG format only. The same needs to be uploaded as required during the ‘On-line Application’ process. Registration and submission of online application form may be made by accessing JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru website: www.jssuni.edu.in.

  5. The prescribed application/registration fee should be remitted through payment gateway provided using a credit card OR a debit card issued by a bank in India or through internet banking.
