AIIMS MBBS Admission 2021 – All India Institute of Medical Sciences has invited Applications for admission to the MBBS Course through NEET-UG 2021 score for the academic year 2021
Admission in AIIMS, New Delhi and Eight other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh Raipur, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) and Nagpur (Maharashtra) and other AIIMS is provided through a common medical entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency
Duration of Course
Minimum of 5½ academic years including one year’s compulsory internship
Number of Seats
- 125 Seats for Indian Nationals and 7 Seats for (Foreign Nationals) are available
- Out of these 19 Seats
- SC – 9 seats
- ST – 34 Seats
- OBC – 12 Seats
- EWS – 51 Seats

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS MBBS Admission 2021
- Fulfill the eligibility criteria for NEET 2021 but also for AIIMS MBBS admission
Age Limit
- Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year. Candidates born on or after 2nd January are NOT eligible to apply.
Essential Academic Qualification
- Passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/SSC Exam (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent Exam of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subject
- Passed 10+2 level with Biology as an additional subject will also be eligible
- If the institute has to consider an exam of an Indian university or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/intermediate science exam, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian university/AIU to the effect that the exam passed by him/her is considered to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/intermediate science exam
Minimum Marks
- Minimum aggregate of the marks in English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology obtained in the qualifying exam (as in the essential qualification required for appearing in this exam are: General and OBC candidates: 60% SC/ST candidates: 50% & PWBD candidates: 45%
- Those with CGPA grades only will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form
AIIMS MBBS Admission 2021 Application Process
- Interested candidates can apply online only through the official website aiimsexams.org
- To apply for admission in MBBS Programs at AIIMS Campuses, candidates have to fill NEET 2021 application form. The form for NEET 2021 is released by online mode only by NTA.

Selection Process
- Admission to MBBS Course offered by AIIMS will be based on Marks scored in NEET-UG 2021
Counselling
- Candidates will be called for the counselling on the basis of the merit list. Candidates, who have qualified the exam, can appear for the online counselling.
