Applications are invited for admission to the following academic programmes of the institute

1. DM/M.Ch (three years)

DM: Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia, Neuroanesthesia, Cardiology, Neurology, Neuroimaging and Interventional Neuroradiology

M.Ch: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery (after M.S.)

2. M.Ch Neurosurgery (five years)

3. Post-Doctoral Certificate course (one year): Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Anaesthesia, Neuro Anaesthesia, Cardio Vascular and Neuro Radiology, Vascular Surgery

4. Post-doctoral Fellowship (PDF-after DM/MCh-one year)

Cardiology- Pediatric Cardiology, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Adult Cardiology and Interventions Cardio Vascular and Thoracic

Ph.D in Biochemistry, Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, Biomedical Engineering/Instrumentation, Cellular and Molecular Cardiology, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Health Policy, Gender Issues in Health, Implant Biology, Health Systems, Neurobiology, Neurology, Pathology, Polymer Sciences, Imaging Sciences and Interventional Radiology, Toxicology and Thrombosis Research

6. Master of Public Health (two years)

7. Speciality Nursing courses (for B.Sc Nursing/GNM passed candidates) (two years) Diploma in (i) Cardiovascular and Thoracic Nursing (ii) Neuro Nursing

8. Diploma courses (two years): Cardiac Laboratory Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Neuro Technology, Advanced Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Records Science, Clinical Perfusion, Blood Banking Technology

Application forms and prospectus can be obtained through a written request accompanied by a demand draft for Rs 1000/- (for sl no 5/6) and Rs 300/- (for sl no 7/8) drawn in favour of the director, SCTIMST, Trivandrum payable at Thiruvananthapuram

The request should also contain the course name and the details of the demand draft

Application forms are non-transferable

For courses at serial numbers 1-4 applications are accepted only on-line at website http://www.sctimst.ac.in
