Admission Notice

Applications are invited from eligible Male & Female unmarried candidates for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Four (04) year degree course for the academic year 2011-12.  Candidates seeking admission must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with 45% marks.  Application should be sent through speed post / registered post with Bank Draft of Rs. 1000.00 in fovour of Director SGPGIMS Branch, Code No. 7789, and sent to Director, SGPGIMS, Raebarelly Road, Lucknow-226014.  The Minimum Age for admission shall be 17 years at the time admission and maximum age 24 years as on 31st December, 2011.  The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay.  For details please refer our website www.sgpgi.ac.in

Last date of submission of application form is 31st May, 2011

Entrance examination shall be conducted on 03rd July, 2011 (Sunday)

Essential Qualifications:  The Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics Chemistry, Biology & English with 45% marks.

Age Limit: The Minimum Age for admission shall be 17 years at the time admission and maximum age 24 years as on 31st December, 2011

 

 

How to apply:

1) Application forms can be purchased from College of Nursing, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, on payment of Rs. 1000/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, payable at the State Bank of India, SGPGIMS branch, Lucknow, (code no.7789), which is non-refundable. The applicants may also download the form from Institute website www.sgpgi.ac.in

2) The applicants those who downloaded the Application form from website are required to enclose a bank draft of Rs.1000/- in favour of Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, payable at the State Bank of India, SGPGIMS branch, Lucknow, (code no.7789), which is non-refundable.

General Information:

1) The selection shall be made through an entrance examination to be conducted on 03rd July, 2011 Sunday). Admit Card will be sent to the eligible candidates only.

2) The result of above examination will be available on the Institute’s website within one week of the examination.

3) The number of seats are 40 (Forty), which may be increased or decreased.

4) Reservation will apply as per U.P. Government’s rules. Reservation will be admissible only to candidates having domicile of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates having domicile other than Uttar Pradesh will be treated as General Category candidates for all purposes.

5) Each selected candidate will have to pay Rs.50000/-as Annual fees for the course & Rs.10000/- as security deposit (refundable after completion of course), University Examination Fees Rs. 2000/- annually, SNA Rs. 240/- annually, Hostel Fees Rs. 500/- per month (Rs. 6000/- annually) at the time of admission. Food charges, Dress, Books & Study material charges shall be born by the students as per actual.

6) The candidates should furnish the photocopies of the following:

(a) High School, Intermediate certificates & Marksheets, Migration / Transfer Certificate.

(b) Character Certificate duly signed by Principal School/ Gazetted Officer.

(c) Reserved Candidates should furnish cast certificate duly issued by the competent authority.

(d) Two Passport size colour photographs duly affixed along with the application.

7) Incomplete application and application received after the last date will be summarily rejected.

8) In case of any dispute, the decision of the Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow will be final.

9) The application along with Bank draft and all above mentioned documents should reach to Director SGPGIMS Lucknow by 31st May, 2011 upto 4.00 p.m., through registered/speed post only in a envelope superscribed “Application for entrance exam of B.Sc. (Nursing) (04) years degree course” and to be addressed to Director, SGPGIMS, Raebarelly Road, Lucknow-226014. The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay.

10) No application should be received by hand.

11) Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all application without showing any reason thereof.
