M.Ch specialties: M.Ch Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgery, Urology, Neuro Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Gastro Intestinal Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Vascular Surgery

Eligibility (MS/DNB general surgery): Candidates who will not cross the age of 35 years as on 31st December, 2011 are eligible to apply. Management reserves the right to grant relaxation in age limit in cases where the candidate possesses qualification higher than the minimum eligibility requirements or has exceptional work experience; a candidate, who has passed MD/MS degree in not more than two attempts from a recognized medical college included in the schedules to the Indian medical council act, 1956 and has obtained full registration for MD/MS either from the medical council of India or any state medical council

Admission procedure: Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham

Common entrance test (DM/M.Ch): 26th June, 2011, 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Exam centre: Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi

Prospectus and application form will be available from the selected branches of Dhanalakshmi Bank and Federal Bank

Cost of application form Rs 1500/-; from the office by speed post/courier Rs 1570/-; download from the website (www.amrita.edu) and submit along with a demand draft for Rs 1500/-; demand draft to be drawn in the name of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, payable at Kochi
