Reliance Industries Limited generously created the Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program to support Indian nationals living in India who need financial assistance in obtaining an MBA at Stanford.

ii.

The main objective of Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program is to give financial support to the Indian nationals in order to attain an MBA at Stanford.

Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship commences from

September 2021

Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship provides the following benefits to the selected fellows:

a)

Stanford will award up to 5 Fellows every year.

b)

The selected fellows will get a waiver of 80% in the cost of tuition and related fees each year during the 2 year Stanford MBA program.

c)

After completion of an MBA degree, the fellows will become the members of the Stanford University and the Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows communities.

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Stanford Fellowship:

ii.

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

iii.

Candidates must have a graduate degree or in the final year of his/her graduation degree.

iv.

Candidates without any full-time work experience are eligible.

v.

Candidates must have an appropriate score in JEE or CAT or GMAT or GRE or IELTS or PTE or TOEFL exam.

vi.

Candidates pursuing an MBA degree from the Stanford Business School, USA are eligible.

If you are applying to Stanford GSB for deferred enrollment, you must apply to the Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program in the year prior to your enrollment. Important dates are listed below.

Up to 50 Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows finalists will be selected based on:

Merit

ii.

Commitment to developing India

iii.

Financial need

Stage 2

Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program Finalists Complete the Standard Application Process for the Stanford MBA Program

The selection of around 50 finalists is on the basis of merit and financial need. Stanford will take the final decision to select up to 5 Fellows within the 50 finalists.

The final decision to select 5 fellows will depend on the following criteria:

a)

The demonstrated leadership potential of the fellows

b)

The intellectual vitality of the fellows

c)

Personal qualities and contributions of the fellows
