About NIT Rourkela Summer Internship Program
- NIT Rourkela has launched a Summer Internship Programme with an objective to encourage ambitious bright B. Tech, B. Arch as well as B.Sc., M.Sc. and MBA students of different Institutes in India other than NIT Rourkela to pursue an innovative research and development project under the guidance of NITR faculties
The Internship is available in the following Departments:
- BM : Biotechnology & Medical Engineering
- CE : Civil Engineering
- CH : Chemical Engineering
- CR : Ceramic Engineering
- CS : Computer Science & Engineering
- CY : Chemistry
- EC : Electronics & Communication Engineering
- EE : Electrical Engineering
- ER : Earth and Atmospheric Sciences
- FP : Food Process Engineering
- HS : Humanities & Social Sciences
- ID : Industrial Design
- LB : Library
- LS : Life Science
- MA : Mathematics
- ME : Mechanical Engineering
- MM: Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
- MN : Mining Engineering
- PA : Planning & Architecture
- PH : Physics and Astronomy
- SM : School of Management
Duration
- The internship duration is between May 16 to July 15, 2024.
Fellowship and Other Facilities
- Fellowship or other Financial assistance will not be provided.
- Laboratory, Library Facilities (without borrowing) and internet facilities.
- Medical facility (consultation with doctor at Institute dispensary).
- Approximate food and Accommodation cost at NIT Rourkela Hostel: Rs. 8500/- per month

Eligibility Criteria
- Any B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Sc., M.Sc. and MBA students with a good academic record who has completed 2 or 3 years of study toward engineering or science degree may apply for this fellowship.
