NIT Rourkela Scholarships 2020 – NIT Rourkela invites applications from (a) B. Tech. (b) Int. M. Sc., (c) Dual Degree, (d) M.Sc. / MA / M.Tech. (without fellowship category only) students for 1972 Batch Alumni Endowment Scholarship.

Scholarship Details
NINE Scholarships (approx. Rs.40,000/- each for 1 semester) have been endowed by the alumni of the Institute, viz.
a) 1972 Batch Alumni Endowment Scholarship
b) B. Tech. – 1 for each Semester, Int. M. Sc. – 1 No., Dual Degree – 1 No., and M. Sc. / MA / M. Tech. (Without fellowship category only) – 1 No.], (b) Pendyala Anasuya Memorial Scholarship (1 No*), and
c) Pendyala Vijayalakshmi Memorial Scholarship (2 Nos*)
d) NITROAA Scholarship (4 Nos)

Eligibility Criteria for NIT Rourkela Award of Alumni Endowment Scholarships 2020
1. SGPA in 1st Semester or CGPA till last semester should not be less than 6.0 (i.e., for SPRING 2019–2020).
2. Family Annual Income from all sources should not be more than Rs.50,000/-.
3. Regular attendance in class and participation in extra-curricular and/or SAC activities will be given preference.
Eligibility for NITROAA Scholarship 
a) Only B. Tech. students are eligible.
b) Family Income should not be more than `2.50 Lakh
c) Students suffering from serious financial hardships may be given preference
d) CGPA should be more than 6.0 in each semester
e) Student must not be in receipt of any scholarship
f) Students should agree to provide voluntary service for the cause of NITROAA if requested.
Note: One student will receive `40,000/- per semester which will be selected from the list of applications already received. The number of recipients will depend on availability of fund

  • Application form can be downloaded from https://www.nitraa.org/home.dz
  • Students are required to submit supporting documents (income certificate of both parents issued on or after 1st April 2020) along with application form and final selection result will be circulated by group-email.
