Department of Minority Welfare Kerala announces Mother Teresa Scholarship (MTS) 2023 for Minority Community Students 

 

Mother Teresa Scholarship 2023 – Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala invites applications from the students of minority community (such as Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, and Christians) who are studying in Nursing, Diploma/Paramedical courses for the award of Mother Teresa Scholarship for year 2023-24. The main objective of this scheme is to provide an Educated environment in minority communities

 

Important Dates

  • Applications can be submitted online 10th October 2023
  • Those applications which have been verified and approved online should reach 10th November 2023

 

Scholarship Amount

  • The amount of Scholarship is Rs.15000/-
  • Scholarships will be distributed to the Muslim students and students of other minority communities in the ratio 80:20. Of the total scholarships, 50% would be reserved for girls.

 

Eligible Criteria

  • To be eligible for Mother Teresa Scholarship 2023 candidates
    • Should belong to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddha, Parsis, Jains community
    • Family Annual income should not exceed 8 Lakhs
    • Should be a native of Kerala
    • Admission must be in merit seat

 

Application Process

  • Applications can be submitted online at www.minoritywelfare.kerala.gov.in latest by 10th November 2023
  • Applicants should click at the link, ‘Scholarship’ and then, ‘Mother Theresa Scholarship (MTS) ‘ at the website and click on ‘Apply Online’ link. Those who have already applied for any scholarship at this link earlier may go to the Candidate login link,
  • After applying online, applicant should login using the User-id and password obtained and the Photo, signature and Certificates uploaded
  • Applicant should view the filled application and take the printout of the same
  • The printout, with the documents specified should be submitted to the Head of the Institution latest by 10th November 2023
