ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship Program – ETH Zurich invites applications from eligible candidates for the ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship Program (ETH SSRF) 2022. The Student Summer Research Fellowship offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain their first research experience in an area of their choice.

- Theory and Algorithms
- Networked Systems and Parallel Computing
- Pervasive Computing and Cyber Physical Systems
- Information and System Security
- Data Management and Machine Learning
- Programming Languages and Software Engineering
- Visual Computing
ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship Program Dates 2022
- Application period:
- Beginning of November 15th December 2021 at 12 noon
- Applicants will be notified by e-mail by February 2022
- Duration of the Program: Will take place from 01 July – 31st August 2022
ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship Program Eligibility Criteria 2022
- ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship program if you satisfy the following conditions:
- You are enrolled in a study program (bachelor, master or equivalent) in computer science or a closely related field (e.g., electrical engineering, mathematics, physics)
- Your expected graduation date in your current study program (bachelor or master) is in the year following the fellowship or later.
- You will have completed two years of study by the start of the program (master students naturally satisfy this condition).
Duration
- Duration of the fellowship is the full two months of July and August, during which time you must be present
Scholarship Benefits
- Gain two months of research experience in computer science at a top international university

- Travel, visa and living expenses are covered by the fellowship
Stipend
- Fellows at ETH Zurich will receive a monthly allowance of about CHF 1.750 to cover housing and living expenses

- Use the grading system that your university provides – the grading system on the GPA scale that you have been graded on.
