Chevening offers Scholarship Program 2023 for Indian Students  to Pursue Master’s Degree Course in UK 

 

Chevening India Scholarship Program 2023 – Chevening invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for an opportunity to study in the UK. The scholarship will be provided to pursue a one-year master’s degree in any subject at any UK University for the academic year 2023-24. Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships program. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organizations.

 

Chevening Scholarship Benefits

• As Chevening Scholarships are fully-funded, your award includes the following:
  1. university tuition fees
  2. a monthly stipend
  3. travel costs to and from the UK
  4. an arrival allowance
  5. a homeward departure allowance
  6. the cost of one visa application
  7. a travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK

• Application Opening Date: September 12, 2023
• Application Closing Date: November 07th, 2023 at 12:00 GMT (midday UK time)

 

Eligibility Criteria

• Be a citizen of a fellowship-eligible country or territory.
• Demonstrate the potential to rise to a position of leadership and influence.
• Demonstrate the personal, intellectual and interpersonal attributes reflecting this potential.
• Return to your country of citizenship at the end of the period of the fellowship.
• Have a postgraduate level qualification (or equivalent professional training or experience in a relevant area) at the time of application.
• Meet all program-specific fellowship eligibility requirements.
• Not hold British or dual British citizenship.
• Not have received UK Government scholarship funding (including Chevening) within the last five years.

 

Work Experience

• The types of work experience that are eligible for Chevening can include:
  • Full-time employment
  • Part-time employment
  • Voluntary work
  • Paid or unpaid internships

 

Application Process

• Applications for Chevening Awards can only be submitted using the Chevening online application system, available through the “Apply” button on your country page
• If you are conditionally selected for a Chevening Scholarship, it is essential that you submit these documents in order to remain in the process.
