DEO Andhra Pradesh announces State Level National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) 2022 for Class 10 Students, Apply now

Andhra Pradesh State Level NTSE  – District Education office Andhra pradesh  invites application for state level National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for students studying in Class X. The examination is conducted every year at two levels: Stage-I (State Level) and Stage-II (National Level). Candidates who will qualify the Stage I examination will be eligible to appear for Stage-II examination, conducted by NCERT.

Andhra Pradesh NTSE Dates 2022

  • Application online submission from: 29th October 2021
  • Last date for Upload the candidate’s application by the concerned Head Master: 30th November 2021
  • Last date for payment of fee: 01st December 2021
  • District Educational Office concerned by the School (HMs/ Principals/ Correspondent): 06th December 2021
  • NTSE Exam Date: 23rd January 2022 (Sunday) [09:30 AM to 11:30 AM; 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM]

 

Andhra Pradesh NTSE Eligibility Criteria 2022

  • Students who are studying X Class during the current academic year i.e., 2021 – 22 in any recognized schools as well as the students studying in Open Distance Learning Mode with below age of 18 years (as on July 1st 2021).
  • Appearing in Class X Examination for the first time including Kendriya Vidyalayas
  • Navodaya Samitis and schools affiliated to CBSE & ICSE New Delhi are only eligible

 

Andhra Pradesh NTSE Application Form 2022

  • Applications should be uploaded in the website: www.bse.ap.gov.in and printed Nominal Rolls should be submitted in the DEO’S office of the District Concerned only. 
  • Completed application form should be signed by the Principal of the School much before the last date of submission. The candidates as well as the Principal of the school must adhere to the last date for submission of the Application Form. 

 

Exam Fee

  • The Examination Fee is Rs.200/- per candidates; the examination fee has to be paid through AP CFMS which has generated after submission of online application

 

Selection Process

  • Stage-I, selection will be done by States/ UTs and those who qualify Stage-I, will be eligible to appear for Stage-II examination, conducted by NCERT

 

NTSE Exam Pattern

  • State level Examination will be conducted in two sessions on the same day as per details given below
  • Mental Ability Test (MAT) Paper ! -100 No. of Questions; 100 No. of Marks; Duration: 120 Minutes
  • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Paper 2 – 100 No. of Questions; 100 No. of Marks; Duration: 120 Minutes. Paper 2 will be conducted in Telugu, English, Urdu and Hindi medium at all the headquarters of 13 districts in the state.

 

Qualifying Marks

  • Qualifying marks for candidates from General Category is 40% in each paper and for candidates from SC, ST and PH is 32% in each paper
  • Language Test Qualifying in nature and marks obtained for Language Test will not be counted for final merit
