Tata Education and Development Trust invite applications for Tata Scholarship – Cornell University, New York 2017 to provide financial aid to Undergraduate Students from India

This year Tata Scholarship Fund will support about 20 scholars and will ensure that the very best Indian students have access to Cornell, regardless of their financial circumstances. The scholarship will be awarded annually till the completion of course

Tata Scholarship Cornell University for Indian Students:

Students can apply for Tata scholarships for various undergraduate topics such as – Agriculture; Nutrition; Art; Architecture; Applied economics; Life science; Biological science; Physical science; Social science; and Engineering

Scholarship Details

The Tata Scholarship Fund will support approximately 20 scholars at any given time and will ensure that the very best Indian students have access to Cornell, regardless of their financial circumstances
The scholarship will be awarded annually; recipients will receive the scholarship for the duration of their undergraduate studies at Cornell

Eligibility Criteria

Students fulfilling the following may be entitled to the Tata scholarship program:

Be a student and citizen of India

Secondary level examinations in India cleared

Seeking an undergraduate program at Cornell University

Fit in the specified income range for financial aid

Special preference will be given to art, architecture, engineering, applied economics and management majors, agriculture, life science, biological science, physical science, social science and other science students

Application Procedure

Students will be considered for the scholarship if they have completed the admission application and then applied for the financial aid. There is no financial aid offered to those seeking admission for the spring 2017 programme

The financial aid application form for international students has been supplied online and students must complete the College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile. They may be asked to submit additional information such as:

Parents and student’s 2015 income

Noncustodial parent asset and income

Citizenship documents

Photocopy of passport
