Admission to Fellowship in Standardisation of ISM Drugs 2016-17
The Tamilnadu DR. MGR Medical University, Chennai invites applications from the eligible for the candidates for admission to the one year (full time) Fellowship in Standardisation of ISM Drugs Course for the session 2016-17.

Eligibility
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should have completed BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS Degrees awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University or any other University, recognised by CCIM
Eligibility Certificate: Candidates who have passed the qualifying exams from other Universities, other than from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR, Medical University must obtain Eligibility Certificate and submit along with the Application
Candidates presently employed in Govt. or private institutions seeking admission, should obtain a no Objection Certificate from the employer stating that permission has been granted and an undertaking that the candidate will be relieved for admission to “Fellowship in Standardisation of ISM Drugs” Course in The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University on or before the cutoff date
Selection Policy
Selection will be based on written entrance examination. Successful candidates will be provisionally selected for admission to the One year “Fellowship in Standardizsation of ISM Drugs” Course by the selection committee of the University
Entrance Exam
Candidates admitted for the Entrance Examination will have to come to the Examination Centre (The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University) at their own expense. No TA/ DA will be paid
The questions for the entrance Exam will be about the Drug Industry (Ayurveda, Siddha & Unani), Regulatory norms for ISM drug industry, Current status and recent advance in ISM drugs and drug testing
The question paper will contain 50 objective type questions each with four responses (A B C D) in English. Each question will carry 2 (Two) Marks. There will be no Negative Mark for incorrect responses
Zero mark will be given for questions not answered

Admission Fee – Rs.500/-; Tuition Fee – Rs.5000/-; Laboratory Fee – 5000/-; University Administrative Fee – 2000/-; Miscellaneous Fee – Rs.1000/-; and Total – Rs.13500/-

Application with necessary enclosures to be sent in a cover super scribed as ‘Application for “Fellowship in Standardization of ISM Drugs Course 2016-17 Session” to the “Registrar, the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, No. 69,Anna Salai, Guindy, Chennai-600032 on or before the last date along with a DD for Rs.1000/- towards the cost of application form
The cost of the application may also be paid by Challan at IOB, Dr MGR Medical University Branch. Applications without the Demand Draft or Challan will not be accepted
