International Student Scholarships 2017
Sydney TAFE International Students Scholarship is for the International Students . This scholarship is presented by Sydney TAFE – is a partial scholarship for the students studying a Diploma,Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree course for minimum 1.5 years of duration
The aim of the Sydney TAFE Scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from any nationality
Level of Course: Scholarship for students studying a diploma, advanced diploma, associate degree or bachelor degree course (minimum 1.5 years in duration)
Study Subject: Scholarships are offered over different departments across the university, all offering a diverse range of courses
Scholarship Award: The scholarship of $2,000 will be credited towards their tuition fee on their third semester of studies. The Sydney TAFE International Student Scholarship does not provide financial support in the form of a living allowance, nor does it provide for the cost of visa application, overseas student Health Cover (OSHC), airfares, accommodation or other costs associated with study

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must:
-Be an international student and have been offered to study diploma, advanced diploma, associate degree or bachelor degree course with a minimum of 1.5 years duration at Sydney TAFE
-Commence studies in Sydney TAFE in 2016 or 2017
-Not be a family member or relative of a Sydney TAFE employee or TAFE NSW.
– Have met Sydney TAFE’s academic and English requirements for the course to be considered for a scholarship
Nationality: International students are eligible to apply
Selection Criteria
The recipient will be selected on the basis of:
-Reasons for applying for Sydney TAFE International Student Scholarship
-Academic merit in the qualification used as basis of admission into Sydney TAFE programs
-Other achievements, leadership skills, volunteer work and contributions
-Personal Statement
How to Apply
The students are required to complete the Sydney TAFE International Student Scholarship Application Form
Submit this application through email at [email protected] on or before the last date; attach all your academic transcripts and any other relevant documents
Incomplete applications will not be considered; the Selection Committee’s decision is final
