St. Andrews Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships 2017

University of Glasgow, UK, invites applications for Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships from students pursuing their undergraduate or postgraduate studies at the university for the academic session 2017.

This exciting scholarship opportunity is open to Canadian, Chinese, Indian and US nationals and is aimed at encouraging bright, talented and hardworking individuals to live, work and study in Scotland

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be a citizen and permanent resident of Canada, China (including Hong Kong), India, Pakistan or USA

Have a conditional or unconditional offer of a place at a Scottish university on an eligible course before an application can be considered

Be able to demonstrate that they can meet the costs of living in Scotland and the remaining tuition fees

Not have previously studied for a full undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Scotland

Not have previously received a Saltire scholarship

How to Apply

The scholarships are available to students as part of a wider strategy to promote Scotland as a study destination and showcase Scotland’s higher education offering in international markets

In order to be eligible to apply for a Saltire Scholarship, candidates must have a conditional or unconditional offer of a place at a Scottish university on an eligible course. Please click here for a full list of eligibility criteria

The application process for 2017 opened on Monday 01st February 2017 and will close at midnight on Sunday 01st May 2017. Successful applicants will hear from their institution in due course
