Saraswati Academy SAST 2018 Scholarship Test

Important Dates

Last Date to Avail Scholarship: 31st March 2018

Scholarship Through SAST

  • Apart from the SAST – scholarship exam, there are other multiple opportunity to avail the scholarship for bright students.

Proposal Number 1

  • Rank 1-5 = 100% on overall fees & 95% score in SAST (for minimum score in SAST)

  • Rank 6-15 = 70% Only on tuition fees & 90% score in SAST(for minimum score in SAST)

  • Rank 16-30 = 60% Only on tuition fees & 80% score in SAST(for minimum score in SAST)

  • Rank 31-50 = 50% Only on tuition fees & 70% Score in SAST(for minimum score in SAST)

  • Rank 51-100 = 40% Only on tuition fees & 60% score in SAST(for minimum score in SAST)

  • Rank 101-200 = 30% only on tuition fees & 50% score in SAST(for minimum score in SAST)

Exam Details

  • Target Segment: Class 10th studying students

  • Last date to avail Scholarship: Till 31st March-2018

  • Mode of Exam: Pen and Paper (Offline)

  • Question type: MCQ

  • Scoring Pattern: No negative marks

  • Fees for the Exam: Rs.200 /-

  • Test Centers: Asansol, Burdwan, JKP, Dum Dum, Krishnagar, Berhampore, Bangalore, Trichy and other selected schools in different part of country

Proposal Number 2

Early Admission:

  • Scholarship Amount: Rs.15000/-

  • Last date to avail the scholarship:Within 15 days after the SAST examination

Eligibility

  • Those not getting the rank in SAST; or Class 10th board exam appeared/ studying students or; student application must be uploaded before the respective board result declared

  • The student will only eligible after realization of the rest amount fees

Proposal Number 3

  • Based on the class 10th Marks

Scholarship Details:

  • >95 % marks Obtained in Science Group and Mathematics = 100% tuition fees (Scholarship Amount)

  • 90-95% marks Obtained in Science Group and Mathematics = 60% on tuition fees(Scholarship Amount)

Eligibility:

  • All boards. Only 2018 passed out students

Exam Centers

  • The examination will be held at various centers spread across the country, West Bengal, Tamilnadu and Karnataka

Proposal Number 4

The centers will also conduct the scholarship examination regularly on the respective locations and based on the scholarship result the student will be eligible for discount as per the below table

Scholarship Details

>70% – 50% only on Tuition fees

61-70% – 40% only on Tuition fees

51-60% – 30% only on Tuition fees

41-50% – 20% only on Tuition fees

<40% – 10% only on Tuition fees

Frequency of the Examination: Every Saturday / Sunday

Question type: MCQ

Target Class: Class 10th board exam appeared students

Eligibility:

  • Only those who has not appeared in the SAST examination

Test Centers:

  • Asansol , Krishnanagar , Burdwan, Berhampore , Dumdum and JKP.
