CBS Denmark invites PhD Scholarship 2017 in Public Procurement Law & Competition Law

Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a vacant PhD scholarship within the field of finance. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme

 

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) invites applications for a vacant PhD scholarships in Public Procurement Law and Competition Law for a PhD project on “Collaboration and relations between economic operators in the competition for public contracts – Legal and economic analyses of grey zones between public procurement law and competition law”

Scholarship Award

A PhD scholarship runs for a period of 3 years, and includes teaching obligations equivalent of ½ year’s work (840 work hours)

 

The scholarships are fully salaried positions, according to the national Danish collective agreement. The scholarship includes the tuition fees, office space, travel grants plus a salary, depending on seniority, plus a pension contribution totaling 17, 01% of 85% of the base salary

 

The PhD student will be enrolled at PhD School in Language, Law, Informatics, Operations Management, Accounting and Culture / PhD School in Organization and Management Studies / PhD School in Economics and Management

 

Eligibility

The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship:

 

To be considered, the candidate should have a basic training at the Masters level (similar to the 3 + 2 Bologna process). An educational background in the social sciences is necessary. The applicant must have successfully completed the Masters degree before commencing PhD at CBS. The applicants must be fluent in English

 

Admission Process

The application should be submitted online as indicated in the vacancy advertisement to the doctoral school/department, and must include the following:

Copy of diplomas/transcripts

Curriculum vitae (CV)

List of written works

Sample of a written work (e.g. master’s thesis)

Brief project description (approximately five pages)

Together with the diploma/transcripts and CV, the project description is the most important basis for assessing the application. It describes the research project that will form the core of the PhD Program
