Sexualities Project at Northwestern SPAN 2018

 

The Sexualities Project at Northwestern (SPAN) is inviting applications for two-year Postdoctoral Fellowships in Sexuality Studies. Fellowships are expected to run from 01st September 2018, through 31st August 2020

 

The duration of the fellowship will be of two years and the researchers who study sexuality from a social science perspective (broadly construed) are eligible for this scholarship

Scholarship Award

The stipend is $58,500 in the first year of the fellowship

In addition, the Fellow is eligible for $3,500 per year to fund research and conference travel, and up to $1,500 for allowable relocation expenses in the first year
Up to $1,000 is also available for allowable travel expenses for an area visit prior to the start of the postdoc term

 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants with a PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) must have completed it after 01st September 2013

Applicants without a PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) must complete all the requirements for the degree before 01st September 2018. At the time of application, the applicant must be available for the full two-year term

International scholars are eligible to apply for postdoctoral fellowships

Note: Those applicants who do not have their PhDdegree or equivalent needs to complete all the requirements for the degree before 01st September 2018

 

Application Procedure

All application materials other than letters of recommendation must be received by 05th January 2018. Letters of recommendation are due no later than 12th January 2018. Because your references will not receive submission instructions until you submit your completed application, we recommend that you submit your application well before the deadline
