DLF Foundation Scholarship – AKANKSHA 2017
The DLF Foundation invites applications from students pursuing professional undergraduate and postgraduate courses for DLF Foundation Scholarship for Professional Courses (AKANKSHA) 2017
The key objective of the scheme is to support meritorious underprivileged students to attain higher education in their chosen fields of study and also, to enable them to avail enhanced livelihood and better career opportunities for themselves and their families

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must
Be a domicile of Gurugram
Have qualified an internal entrance exam of an ‘A’ grade institute or colleges
Be entering the first year of following undergraduate and postgraduate courses – B.Tech/ MBBS/ Paramedics/ CS/CA/ICWA/ LLB/ BBA/ Mass Communication/ Hotel Management / MBA/ M.Tech
Have a family income less than INR 5 Lac per annum
Scholarship Details
A total of 80 scholarships will be disbursed under this scheme out of which 65 scholarships are for undergraduate students and 15 scholarships are for postgraduate students
Award Details
For Undergraduate students: INR 40,000 per annum per scholar for all courses except MBBS
For MBBS students – INR 50,000 per annum per scholar
For Postgraduate students: INR 50,000 per annum per scholar
Selection Procedure
The selection process for the scholarship involves two stages:
Stage 1: Scrutiny of online applications
Stage 2: Telephonic Interview
Applicants will be selected on the basis of (a) Rank secured in the last competitive exam taken; (b) Family income; and (c) Geographical location
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps
Step 1: Go to link (https://app.buddy4study.com/application/DFS1/instruction) and click on ‘Apply Now’ (All interested students need to register first on Buddy4Study to start their application process)
Step 2: Login/Register using Facebook, Google Plus or Email account.
Step 3: Once signed in, click on ‘Start Application’ to start filling the form.
Step 4: Fill in all the details and upload the documents required.
Step 5: Finally, click on ‘Submit’. Note: On successful completion of Online Application Process, the applicants will receive a confirmation email/SMS on their registered email id/mobile number. They can also track the application status by logging into their accounts
