National Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students by government of India 2015
Applications are invited from ST students who have gained admission in the Institute Identified by Ministry of Tribal Affairs under the scheme of Central Sector Scheme of National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST students formerly known as Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education for ST students for the year 2015-16 through National e-Scholarship Portal
Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India invites the application from Scheduled Tribe (ST) student who have secured admission the institutes which are identified by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for the ‘Central Sector Scheme of National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST Students’. Mainly the scholarship scheme is known as Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education for ST students for the academic session 2015-16. The application are invited from the students through their National e-scholarship Portal
The Scholarship is awarded to students selected for pursuing courses as Graduate/Post Graduate level in identified Institutions of excellence, Govt. and Private, in professional fields such as Management, Medicine, Engineering, Information Technology, Law and Training etc.

The list of identified institutions has been revised from 2015-16 and now total number of 158 Top Class Institutions has been listed for the National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST students
Eligibility for National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST students 2015
The male and female Scheduled Tribe students are eligible to apply
ST students who have secured admission in any of the notified 158 Institutions according to the norms prescribed by the respective Institutions will be eligible for the scholarship under the scheme
The total family income of the candidates to be eligible for this scholarship from all sources should not exceed Rs.4.50 lakh per annum
How to apply for National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST students 2015
The scheme is implemented through National e-Scholarship Portal (NeSP). It is mandatory for all students to apply online. The students shall apply on the scholarship website i.e. www.scholarships.gov.in

The Registration of Online Application for National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST Students is open from 01st July 2015 to 31st August 2015
