What is Neropa Fellowship Program ? The Naropa Fellowship is a one-year, fully-residential, post-graduate, academic programme focused on creating and nurturing agents of change who will work towards fostering an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and growth while preserving the cultural heritage of Ladakh and the Himalayan region. About the Fellowship
- The Naropa Fellowship is a one-year residential program for post-graduate candidates, designed for leadership development in the Himalayas.The inaugural Founding Class will consist of 50 Fellows, commencing on 01st September 2018 and graduating in August 2019
- The fellowships aim to offer a fully sponsored one-year residential postgraduate program to the selected candidates who will display commitment towards the upliftment of Ladakh and the Himalayan region
- Upon the successful completion of 1 year of fellowship, students will receive a certificate of completion of the program

- Application Deadline: 10th August 2018
- Program Commences at the Hemis Campus: 01st of September 2018
Fees & Scholarship
- The Founding class of the Naropa Fellowship will admit 50 (fifty) Fellows in the class of 2018. Forty students of the founding class will be fully funded and eligible for full scholarships. The scholarship will also be available to international students on a needs-only basis.
- The fee inclusive of tuition fee, hostel accommodation and meals, will be INR 10 lakhs. *GST as applicable
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates from all fields and professions are eligible to apply, with preference given to persons from Himalayan regions such as Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and Himachal Pradesh, in India and Nepal and Bhutan internationally.
- Candidates must have successfully completed their undergraduate degrees from recognized institutions and have a sound academic and extra-curricular record
