LNJN National Institute of Criminology & Forensic Science offers Merit & Means scholarship and Scholar Book Grant 2017
LNJN NICFS (National Institute of Criminology & Forensic Science) is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the Proposal for Award of Merit Scholarship and Scholar Book Grant for the students of M.A. Criminology and M.Sc. Forensic Science to promote study of Criminology and Forensic Science at Post Graduate Level 2017

Scheme A – LNJN NICFS Merit & Means Scholarship
Financial Assistance available under the Scheme-A will be Rs.2000/- p.m. for 12 months. The scholarship shall be released in quarterly installments on production of certificate of prescribed minimum attendance of 75% (barring exceptional circumstances on Medical ground supported by Medical Certificate to the satisfaction of the Director. NICFS) and securing 60% marks for General category and of SC/STYOBC category in first & third semester exams (as applicable)
Scheme B – LNJN NICFS Scholar Book Grant
Financial assistance available under the scheme will be Rs.10000/- per annum for the purchase of books. The books may be purchased in printed or electronic form: The book grant will be given to the students only on submission of receipts of books purchased provided that the receipts are countersigned by any Faculty member of NICFS

Eligibility
LNJN NICFS Merit & Means Scholarship
For 1st year Students of M.A. Criminology/M.Sc. Forensic Science: The criterion of first year scholarship is purely the Common Entrance Test (CET) rank conducted by GGSIP for the -M.A.Criminology and M.Sc. Forensic Science subject
For 2nd year students of M.A. Criminology/M.Sc. Forensic Science: Students tY0/D M.A. Criminology and M.Sc. Forensic Science who scored maximum marks in the first and second semester examinations collectively (declared by GGSIP) will be awarded scholarship provided they have cleared all the subjects in both the semester

The application form is available from Teaching Section, NIC FS and also uploaded on the NICFS website www.nicfs.nic.in
The students have to submit the duly filled application form latest by 06th November2017 to Ms. Neelam Khurana, Teaching Section and obtain the acknowledgment of receipt of the same. No application will be received after the due
