Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Fellowships 2018 – Applications are invited for high value Jamia Hamdard – Silver Jamia Hamdard Fellowships to be awarded on competitive basis.

Fellowship Amount
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post – doctoral Fellowship

  • Remuneration: Rs. 60,000 per month (no other allowances)
  • Contingency: Rs. 50,000 per year

Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship

  • Remuneration: Rs. 35,000 per month (no other allowances)
  • Contingency: Rs. 25,000 per year

Tenure

  • Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post – doctoral Fellowship: Two years (with provision of extension of one year)

  • Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship: Three years (no provision of extension)

  • In case any of the fellows leaves fellowship before completion of one-year entire amount of fellowship and contingency shall be required to be refunded to the University

 

Eligibility Criteria

a) Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post -Doctoral Fellowship

  • Candidates who have been awarded Ph.D. degree by a recognized University in the discipline relevant to research activities of Jamia Hamdard
  • Have obtained PG degree in the first division (60% marks or equivalent grade)
  • Have published at least three research papers with first/co-first authorship in SCI/SSCI –indexed journal
  • The papers by the candidates from discipline other than social sciences, Islamic studies and humanities should have been published in the journals having impact factor more than 2. The number of publications can be relaxed in case of publication in high impact factor journals such as Nature, Science, Cell, NEJM etc.
  • Applicants who received the PhDdegree more than two years before the closing date of application will not be considered

b) Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship

  • First division (60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade) at Post-graduate level
  • Candidates should have qualified NET-JRF/LS or equivalent test after PG qualification or have qualified GATE, GPAT with 90 or above percentile
