Features of the Program
- Selected candidates will work with one of the IISc faculty members and learn various techniques used in research for a period of one month during June-July 2018

Eligibility Criteria
- SC/ST students studying 1st year M.Sc. in science disciplines (Biological, Physical, Chemical and Mathematical Sciences) or 03rd year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree, during the academic year 2017-18
Selection Criteria
- IISc will evolve a suitable criterion for selecting the candidates for the program
Financial Support
- Travelling allowance equivalent to II Class (sleeper) train fare from nearest station College/residence to IISc and back
- Free boarding and lodging (on sharing basis) at IISc
- Fellowship of Rs.5000/- and a book grant of Rs.1500/-

- Students are requested to submit the online application by logging on to the website www.iisc.ernet.in
- After submitting online application, take a print out of the application. Affix latest passport size color photograph at identified place and forward to the following address, by clearly super-scribing on the envelop as “IISc Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering for SC/ST Students-2018”
