About Foundation for Excellence Scholarships
Foundation for Excellence Scholarships is offered by Foundation for Excellence, Bangalore to the meritorious students who belong to economically weaker families of India. The scholarship is given only for pursuing B.E./B Tech, Integrated 5-Yr Dual-Degree M.Tech and MBBS. The Foundation for Excellence Scholarships is granted to these students who despite hardship in the family have secured Top Ranks in National/State level common entrance tests and have secured admission into renowned Engineering and Medical institutions of India
To pursue higher education in India, the Foundation for Excellence Scholarships provides financial and other assistance to students
The mission of FFE is to provide scholarships to exceptionally bright students who have financial constraints, enabling them to achieve professional success as Engineers and Doctors.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must be studying only professional courses like B.E./B Tech, Integrated 5-Yr Dual-Degree M.Tech, and MBBS/BDS
Only First-year students beginning their studies in the above-mentioned courses in the academic session 2017-18 are eligible
Candidates must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board not earlier than 2016 and should not have secured less than 70% marks
The applicants’ admissions to their professional degree courses/institutions should be on the basis of the open/general merit rank awarded to them at the state or national level entrance tests or through a counseling process conducted at the state level (as in the case of Tamil Nadu)
Gross family income should not exceed Rs. 1,80,000 per year
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis if fulfillment of the Eligibility Criteria
FFE Facilitators will get in touch with the selected candidates to advise them on the further process for applying for a Scholarship
Scholarships Reward
Selected candidates will be provided financial and other assistance

Steps involved in the Application Procedure
Step 1: Candidates have to fill their basic, academic and entrance exam details in the given columns
Step 2: Foundation for Excellence will help the candidates get in touch with FFE Facilitator
Step 3: Eligibility will be checked by the facilitator
Step 4: Selection results
Documents required
For those whose parents are Employees: Candidates have to attach a Salary Slip of the parents duly issued by the Employer. The Income Certificate issued by local or other government authority in lieu of Salary Slip will not be accepted.
For those whose parents are retirees/ pensioners: Candidates have to attach a pension statement issued by the pension authority or from an authorized bank showing the gross monthly pension of the family member
For those whose parents are self-employed: These candidates have to submit income certificate issued by any government authority or the income tax return
For those whose parents are farmers or cultivators: These candidates have to submit an income certificate issued by a recognized or competent authority
