Cummins Group in India has invited applications for Cummins Scholarship Programme for the year 2016

About the Scholarship
In 2006, Cummins India Foundation (CIF) initiated the ‘Cummins Scholarship Programme’ for meritorious students from financially and socially disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue professional degree and diploma courses
Till date CIF through the programme has provided the scholarship to around 744 deserving students
Cummins also entrusts these scholars to its senior employees, who as mentors provide guidance through the entire duration of the course.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Cummins scholarship programme the candidate must have obtained minimum 60% in the previous Year
Candidate must not be more than 25 years of age
Students appearing for the last year of Engineering Degree/ Diploma and the Post Graduate students are not eligible for this Scholarship
Candidate’s family total income should not be more than Rs.3 Lakh
The students who are currently residing/ studying in and around Pune, Jamshedpur, Nagar, Phaltan and Indore (Dewas/ Pithampur) only eligible to apply for Cummins Scholarship Programme
Selection Criteria
All the received application will be scrutinised and the shortlisted candidates will called for Aptitude Test in Sept., 2016 which is a First round of selection criteria
Candidates who are selected in Round One, i.e. Aptitude Test will be invited for a personal interview in the month of Oct., 2016
The final selected candidates list will be announced in Nov., 2016

Important Dates
Application Deadline: 15th August 2016
1st round of eligible candidates will be called for an Aptitude Test in September 2016
