The College of Science has a small number of postgraduate scholarships available to new non-UK/EU students from China, India and Nigeri

College of Science (CoS) Swensea University PG Scholarship-2013

The following programmes are eligible

M.Sc Environmental Biology (Conservation and Resource Management); M.Res (Aquatic Ecology and Conservation); M.Res (Sustainable Aquaculture and Fisheries); M.Sc by Research degrees in Biosciences; M.Sc Advanced Computer Science; M.Sc Advanced Computer Science with the option of a specialism in one of five different areas (Software Technology, Human Computer-Interaction, Visual Computing, Safe and Secure Systems); M.Sc Computer Science; M.Res Visual Computing; M.Res Logic and Computation; M.Res Computing and Future Interaction Technologies; M.Sc by Research degrees in Computer Science; M.A. Human Geography; M.Sc Environmental Dynamics and Climate Change; M.Sc Geographic Information and Climate Change; M.Res Urban Studies; M.Res Media Geographies; M.Res Social Theory and Space; M.Sc by Research degrees in Geography; M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing for Finance; M.Sc Modelling, Uncertainty and Data; M.Res Stochastic Processes-Theory and Application; M.Sc by Research in Mathematics; M.Sc by Research degrees in Physics

Eligibility Criteria: Scholarships are available only to new postgraduate applicants who are non-UK/EU categorized students from China, India and Nigeria

Scholarships will be used to offset tuition fees

Applicants should hold a minimum of a 2.1 degree (or equivalent)

Applicants should have already applied formally to the University for a place on one of College’s postgraduate programmes

Applicants progressing from ICWS are not eligible to apply for a College of Science International Scholarship

Applicants must enroll on a course in the College for the first time in September, 2012

Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by the end of June, 2012

Successful applicants must confirm acceptance of their scholarship, accept an offer of a place on a course and pay their £2000 deposit

Scholarship holders are expected to cooperate with the College’s recruitment activities

Fund Amount: Each scholarship is worth £2500 to be offset against international tuition fees
